The cottage is completely independent, private and can accommodate 4 guests.

The cottage is part of a small family farm ran by a Dutch-SA Couple. Soutelande is based in the Sardinia Bay Beach Conservancy. It is a 2 min drive away to the best beach in PE, 10 min away from the Airport and local shops, 45 min to Addo Elephant Park and only 2 min away to the nearest golf course.  

 

Rooms

Soutelande is ideal for 1-4 persons. The cottage has 2 bedrooms.

1 Queen beds + 2 Single Beds which we can convert into a King on request.

We have a campcot and feeding chair available for the little ones. 

Each room has a beautiful view over the green conservancy. All linen, towels and extra blankets included.

Breakfast

Your stay includes a fresh farm breakfast basket with yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit, slice of ciabatta, jams, cheese and eggs. 

 

Kitchen 

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, including all the necessities to prepare a lavish dinner. Ingredients excluded ;-). We also have a firepit with grid if you would like to experience a South African braai (BBQ). You can order a local braai pack if you would like to. All basic ingredients in the kitchen can be used such as olive oil & vinegar, pepper & salt, butter, coffee & tea, coffee milk, sugar, eggs and some extra small snacks.

 

The cottage has a private balcony with a lounge set, the perfect spot to enjoy your first morning coffee. It also comes with a patio covered by the shade of the old tree which includes dining table/seats, bench and hammock.

Access for the guests

You are more then welcome to explore the farm. Come and help us feed the chickens in the morning or go to the donkeys for a cuddle.

 

Kindly note that our chickens roam freely. We will keep our dog Jaap in the private area. The donkeys have their own paddock. We are situated in a conservancy and some harmless little wild creatures may enter the farm such as peacocks, mongoose and vervet monkeys.

 

The balcony is fenced off and secured, it is the guests responsibility to look after themselves and their children's safety on the balcony and on the property.
